Sponsor the Hambleton Championships 2026
The Hambleton Championships is the largest swimming competition in the Hambleton area, bringing together young swimmers, families, volunteers and supporters from across the district.
Hosted by Northallerton ASC on behalf of the local swimming community, the championships welcome swimmers from:
- Northallerton ASC, including Bedale
- Thirsk White Horse Swim Team
- Stokesley Swimming Club
The 2025 championships saw more than 180 swimmers compete in over 1,200 individual swims. Across the competition, we welcomed an estimated spectator footfall of more than 500 people, while our live stream received over 1,000 views.
The 2026 championships are planned to be even bigger, with five days of licensed competition and extensive coverage through our live results service, electronic scoreboards and live streaming.
We are seeking local businesses and organisations to support the event through a range of sponsorship opportunities.
Main Competition Sponsor, £1,000
Our principal sponsorship package provides prominent exposure throughout the championships, including:
- Featured branding on the championships website
- Prominent recognition on the live electronic scoreboards
- Branding and acknowledgement throughout the live stream
- Poolside advertising across all five days of competition
- Recognition within event publicity and promotional materials
Lane Sponsor, £500
Lane sponsors will receive:
- Poolside advertising positioned alongside the sponsored lane
- Regular visibility through the live stream
- Recognition on the championships website
- Acknowledgement through the live scoreboard system
Event Sponsor, £100
Businesses can sponsor an individual swimming event within the programme.
Event sponsors will receive:
- Recognition within the competition programme
- Branding displayed alongside the sponsored event on the live results service
- Acknowledgement during the competition
All sponsorship income will be reinvested into competition technology and equipment, helping us improve the experience for swimmers, spectators and volunteers.
Our priority purchases include:
- A new electronic starting system
- Upgraded live-view camera equipment
- Additional and replacement electronic touchpads
This investment will allow us to continue delivering professionally organised, accessible and enjoyable competitions for young swimmers across the Hambleton district.
