Northallerton ASC is pleased to host the Hambleton District Championships 2026, hosted on behalf of Hambleton Swim Squad at Bedale Leisure Centre.
This championship provides swimmers with the opportunity to compete across a wide range of events in a supportive, well organised club competition environment.

The form closes ahead of the meet to allow entries to be compiled and checked before the first weekend of competition.
⚠️ Late entries will not be accepted.
Entries, depending on space, may open again for Weekend 2 and Weekend 3.

Club level championship awards will be managed by each participating club.
🧮 BAGCAT Awards
BAGCAT awards will be calculated for swimmers aged 9 years and over.
Swimmers will accumulate points across a range of events to promote all round swimming development.
Categories include:
⚡ Sprint: Best 50m and 100m event
🏊 Form: 200m Backstroke, Breaststroke or Butterfly
🔥 Distance: 200m to 1500m Freestyle
⭐ IM: 100m, 200m or 400m Individual Medley
Please note that 25m events are excluded from BAGCAT awards.
🪪 Entry Requirements
✅ Open to eligible Hambleton Swim Squad clubs
✅ Swimmers must hold the appropriate Swim England membership
✅ Entries must be submitted online
✅ No paper entries
✅ No entries on the day
✅ Entry times must be realistic and coach verified
✅ Distance events are for swimmers aged 11yrs+ only
⚠️ Late entries will not be accepted.

✅ Event Conditions
Please note the following conditions:
✅ Poolside passes are required for coaches and team managers
✅ Coaches and team managers must be DBS checked
✅ No unaccompanied swimmers
✅ Swimmers may only represent one club
✅ Over the top starts may be used where possible
✅ Photography must follow Swim England guidance
✅ Dives from blocks are only permitted for competent swimmers
✅ Coaches must notify withdrawals and absences by the stated deadline
✅ Withdrawals must be submitted using the withdrawals form

The event will be delivered in line with Swim England Laws and Technical Rules.
