ℹ️ Background

Following the success of the 2024 series, the Hambleton clubs are continuing their commitment to sustainable competition, hosted once again by Northallerton ASC (NASC) at Bedale Leisure Centre.

The venue has been retained due to:

  • Approved license in place

  • Installed Colorado GEN7 electronic timing (owned by NASC)

  • Full-colour LED scoreboard

  • 110-seat spectator space

  • New starting blocks + backstroke ledges

  • Livestreaming capability

Dates: 8 / 9 / 23 / 29 / 30 November 2025\
Pool: 25m, variable depth (2m–1m), 4 lanes, anti-wave ropes
Timing: Colorado GEN7 system (times for information only)
Secondary strobe: Available on request (via entry form)
No swim-down pool

Age as of 31 October 2025 (unless stated otherwise for club level awards).
Heat Declared Winner (HDW) for 50m+, with 25m events having finals.

🏆 Awards

  • 🥇 Top 3 per event, per gender/age group

  • 🏅 All finalists in 25m events receive awards from their own club

  • 📦 Club-level awards handled internally by each club

🧮 BAGCAT Awards (9yrs+ only)

Swimmers accumulate FINA points across:

  • Sprint: Best 50m & 100m (any stroke)

  • Form: 200m back, breast, or fly

  • Distance: 200m–1500m FC

  • IM: 100/200/400m

Note: 25m events excluded. Promotes multi-stroke development.

🕒 Session Timings

Warm-Ups: First 40 mins of each session (by age group: 10/Under, 11–12, 13+)
25m Finals: Scheduled post-interval
Expected Finish: ~6:30pm

🪪 Entry Requirements

  • Open to NORE (inc. Bedale Sharks), STYE, and THWE

  • CAT1 or CAT2 membership required

  • Entries online only. No paper forms or on-day entries

  • Entry Times: Must be verified by coaches and Swim England-compliant

  • Deadlines:

    • Weekend 1: 6 Nov 2025

    • Weekend 3: 27 Nov 2025 (space permitting)

🧑‍🦽 Masters & Para Swimmers

Masters:

  • Will race in separate heats or within main seeding (space dependent)

  • Medals awarded within 15+ category

Disability Swimmers:

  • Seeded in mainstream heats

  • IPC rules apply

  • No separate para categories

  • No qualifying times required

  • Included in results and awards for age group

✅ Event Conditions

  • Poolside Passes: Required for Coaches/Managers. DBS-checked.

  • No unaccompanied swimmers

  • No refunds after deadline (unless medically supported)

  • Only one club representation per swimmer

  • Over-the-top starts will be used where possible

  • Coaches must notify recorders of absences before Thursday 9pm

  • Photography in line with Swim England guidance

  • Dives from blocks only for competent swimmers (per SE standards)
